Join Connie Geerts for an inspiring two-day workshop designed to help you break through the habits and inhibitions that keep you safely within your comfort zone. Through a series of engaging exercises, creative challenges, and quick painting studies, you'll explore new approaches to making art with greater freedom and confidence.
Together, we'll experiment, take risks, and discover the creative triggers that help unlock authentic expression. This workshop is about letting go of perfection, embracing the unexpected, and developing a more intuitive, soulful connection to your work.
Whether you're feeling stuck, looking to energize your practice, or simply curious about a more expressive approach to painting, this workshop will provide tools and inspiration to help you create with courage and joy.
Come prepared to explore, play, and create fearlessly.
Supply List:
Set of acrylic paints, gel medium, palate (paper plates are fine) paint brushes (recommend flat/bright style brushes 1 1/2”, 1”, ½”, and some smaller detail brushes) table cloth, at least 2 large (18x24 or larger) and at least 12 small (8x10 to 12x12) surfaces to paint on (recommend canvas or board for the large- 140lb watercolor paper for the small) collage papers, mark making tools (whatever you like – eg chalk, pencils, watercolor crayons, charcoal, pastels, stencils, scrapers, sponges, stamps etc)
(optional: hairdryer, apron, lunch)

Up to two days before the class, a full refund minus payment system fees is available. For cancellations 2 days before the class I offer the option of attending a future class at the same or lesser value. No shows on the day of the class forfeit the class without refund.
