Make time for creativity with Connie Geerts' weekly Wednesday painting classes at Kensington Art Supply. Beginning September 2, 2026, and continuing through June 2027, these welcoming afternoon sessions (1:00–4:00 pm) are designed to help you grow as an artist in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Whether you're just getting started or have years of experience, you'll enjoy a balance of guided instruction and independent creativity. Every other week, Connie will present a live painting demonstration that you can follow step by step or use as inspiration while working on your own project. Each class also includes individual coaching, constructive feedback, and personalized guidance to help you strengthen your techniques, build confidence, and develop your own artistic style.
Classes are open to all skill levels and are offered in four-class sessions for $200. Attendance is flexible—if you need to miss a class, simply let us know at least 24 hours in advance to receive a makeup credit. (Classes missed without notice cannot be credited.)
Whether you join us for a single four-week session or make it part of your creative routine all year long, you'll find a friendly community, ongoing encouragement, and plenty of inspiration every Wednesday afternoon.
Supply List:
Set of acrylic paints, gel medium, palate (paper plates are fine) paint brushes (recommend flats 1 1/4”, 1”, ½”, and some smaller brushes) table clothe, surfaces to paint on (whatever you like - canvas, board or140lb watercolor paper) notebook - recommended: masking tape, collage papers, stencils, rubbing alcohol, mark making tools (whatever you like – eg pencils, watercolor crayons, charcoal, pastels, pens etc) (optional: hairdryer, apron, lunch)
