Have you been wanting to go bigger and loosen up your style? Join Connie Geerts for an inspiring class designed to help you break through hesitation and paint with confidence.
You’ll explore techniques for getting your ideas down quickly and accurately while developing a bold, painterly approach. Connie will guide you through two large paintings—a warm-up piece and a work based on your own chosen subject—giving you the techniques and confidence to work large without overthinking.
Perfect for confident beginners or experienced artists wanting to loosen up their style.
You’ll have plenty of guidance, encouragement, and room to make the paintings your own.
Supply List:
Set of acrylic paints, 70 % or 90% alcohol, palette (paper plates are fine) paint brushes (recommend flats 2", 1 1/2”, 1”, ½”, and some smaller brushes) table cloth, 2 surfaces to paint on -18x24 up to 30x40(whatever you like - canvas, board or140lb watercolor paper) mark making tools (whatever you like – eg pencils, watercolor crayons, charcoal, pastels, stencils etc)
(optional: hairdryer, apron, lunch) - You'll get an email the week before class about some prep work.
